Day Trip Certifications! 2008	Open Water Day Trips There will be a number of Open Water and Advanced Open Water programs available this year that do not include meals and accommodations. Please contact your nearest GHD Store for details on costs, dates and locations. We expect space on these to fill quickly so book early. As with all of our training programs certified divers are always welcome. As usual, newly certified divers are encouraged to attend these programs to gain additional experience and practice newly acquired skills. Please note that for logistic and planning purposes it is very important you let us know if you plan to attend any day trip program.

Port Elgin TBA Kitchener April 25, 26	Equipment Course Open to all certified divers. Learn to better understand your equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems in order to save a dive. (This is NOT a technician's course.)

Port Elgin Aug 09 Kitchener Friday May 2	DAN Oxygen Provider This 4- 1/ 2 hour course is designed to teach divers and non- divers to recognize possible dive related injuries and teaches the skills necessary to provide emergency oxygen first aid. Contact your nearest shop for details. Participants must have current CPR.Maximum 6 students per class. Pre- registration required. 2- year expiry. Check your cards.These courses will be offered periodically throughout the year. To confirm your course date contact the nearest GHD store and put a deposit down.
Kitchener April 19 Port Elgin July 12	Nitrox Course This 1- day course will provide divers with the basic knowledge and skills for diving nitrox. Dives required to complete the certification can be done on any of our scheduled dive weekends. These courses will be offered periodically throughout the year. June 6, 7, 8 Port Elgin TBA	Scuba Rescue This challenging course may well be the most tiring and rewarding weekend you will ever have. Before registering for this course call Bruce or Doug for more details.Pre- requisites: Advanced certification, Current First- Aid and CPR. DAN 02 training recommended. Note: Rescue II is also available to those interested in Rescue Diver Certification and are interested in the Staff diver program. TBA Tobermory	Niagara II - Tobermory Here's your opportunity to dive the Niagara II, using G & S Watersports. This full day gives us the opportunity to dive this popular wreck site as well as some of the other Fathom Five Wrecks. Other wrecks to be determined. Up to 3 dives are possible for those careful dive planners who can efficiently manage their bottom time and surface intervals. ADVANCED CERTIFICATION REQUIRED. As with all charters, space is limited, so call your nearest GHD store for details and to put a deposit down for your spot on the boat.
